Legal Alliance Company put a period to the case on protection of intellectual property of Richter Gideon
On July 21, 2010 the Kyiv appeal commercial court upheld the decision of the Commercial court of Kyiv dated on September 8, 2009, prohibiting the use and revoking the registration of pharmaceutical products of Indian manufacturer.
Revocation of the order is connected with the violation of claimant´s intellectual property rights.
It is worth recalling that on September 8, 2009 the Commercial court of Kyiv adopted its decision, by which were fully satisfied the claims of JSC «Chemical Plant» Richter Gideon (Hungary) for a partial revocation of the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, according to which a pharmaceutical product of the Indian manufacturer was registered, and also for prohibition to use of the name on pharmaceutical products of own production.
